On my SH3:

but not on my SH2ac:

Which are running simultaneously.

This happens now and again. Not had a chance to do a trace route but this is usually VM running one of the London INternet eXchange links hot.

I have just ordered 200mbit and thought I would take a look at my power levels and stuff before they change me over. Something weird is definitely going on, one of my qam64 upstreams has dropped to 32 and all my downstream post rs errors (of which I should have none) are in the negative.

Incidentally, as I have seen quite a few posts where speed increases have turned into decreases I thought I would get a reference point for that as well. Tbh I am not expecting any problems, my connection has always been top notch.

So was mine, apart from the problems after switch on a few times a week.

new config has come down at some point today while I was at work. Upstream is back to 2 x qam64 which is good and this is the first speed test:

I'll have another crack later on when it is quieter and see if I can get it up to 200.

The difference firmware makes. This started on vanilla AsusWRT firmware, then switched to AsusWRT Merlin.

Not sure what happened last night but the way the peak started and stopped doesn't look like gradual congestion due to user traffic.

It was like being back in dial up days, almost... ;)

From Ralph_R of the forum team:

The local engineering team have come back to me and advised that they've been unable to detect any issue to explain what's going and requested that we arrange with you for the local Principal Engineer to call and investigate.
