£3 per month extra on top of wht I pay currently (i.e. V+ charge and extra set top box charge?). Can someone give me an example of what it would cost me to replace my two Samsung V+ HD boxes with Tivo boxes. i.e. I have a Sammy V+ HD box down and up and want both of these to become Tivo boxes. Would this be an extra £3 per month EACH box or just for tivo service? Something like:

£149 + £149 + £40 install + £3 per month extra?

Official pricing for current customers has not been released. Until they are, any pricing could be right or wrong.

I've read that the 3 pound charge is per box, but that is unconfimed.

When the majority of people are on TIVO over the next few years with 100meg then available nationwide with possibly 200 meg out , will this have any affect on the network during peak times ? Just thinking with possible YouTube streaming on TIVO possibly Lovefilm etc and potentially higher OD usage.

So long as more capacity is added to the network then it shouldn't be a problem.

Theres currently an upgrade programme to cabinets to add more bandwith to future proof the network.

(is this the question?) :)

Is this to bring the whole network up to 750Mhz? Or are VM going beyond that, to 1Ghz?

(yes, I know, I'm nosey :erm:;))

That's the one , I asked it mainly because a tech on here said it wouldn't help the network at all once more and more TIVOS are released on the network along with the BB upgrades.

As the TiVo box has its own dedicated 10Mb broadband connection the will be no issues and if it needs upgrade over time that will not be an issue either.
