Where ever it is on, you need to keep an eye out a chap called Kwesi Appiah. Crystal Palace player who has been on loan twice to the mighty Cambridge United. Recently called up to the Ghana squad. Very good player for the U's, banged the goals in for fun in League 2 this season.

It's on 17 January to 8 February 2015 according to this wikepedia link.

Lol, yeah I think he is back with you guys after the ACN. Might as well stay with us though, I don't think he is ready for the Premiership yet. We had another one of your youngsters with us recently too, Sullay Kaikai. very good players at league two level. It's a shame to lose them.

On the plus side, I have rather enjoyed the FA Cup draw just now!!:):):)

I'm sure you have!

Kaikai looks very good. He's played and scored for us in the League Cup this season. See if you can find his goal against Liverpool development squad on YouTube.

Will hunt it down!!! Apparently, Kewsi made his Ghana debut the other night too, against some Portuguese lower league team.

If you guys want to send more players down to us for some practice against tough tackling defenders, do feel free.:)

Well the rumour round our way is that Kaikai's on his way back for the rest of the season, so you may have your wish!

BT Sport 4K

Interesting point is BT Sport's first move into 4K. I wonder which platforms this will be viewable on?

Quote:

The partnership will also feature co-operation between BT Sport and the NBA on production of games in 4K, which delivers 4000DPI, or four times as much resolution as most current televisions in 1080DPI.

NBA Global Games London 2015 at the O2, presented by Sportlobster will be the first ever NBA game captured in ultra high-definition 4K.

The deal will see BT Sport expand the amount of programming it receives from ESPN to 5,000 hours per year.

Among a wide range of content, programming supplied during the course of the agreement will typically feature the Verizon IndyCar Series, NCAA College Football and Basketball, X Games, the AFL (Australian Football League) and more.

There is also enhanced availability of existing content supplied by ESPN, such as the Emmy Award-winning ESPN Films documentary series, plus the introduction to BT Sport of world football show ESPN FC, and some of the most well-known brands in US sport television, including Pardon The Interruption and Around The Horn.

New TV deals for UK rally fans

http://advanced-television.com/2015/...uk-rally-fans/

As the legendary Rallye Monte-Carlo gets under way, the sport’s chiefs and UK broadcasters ITV and BT Sport have revealed that fans of the FIA World Rally Championship in Britain will receive improved television coverage of the series after both ITV4 and BT Sport agreed new deals for 2015.

Both networks will broadcast comprehensive coverage from all 13 rounds of the championship, beginning with the ‘Monte’. Welsh language network S4C will also report on the series.

The WRC has enjoyed increased interest in Britain over the last 12 months as fans focused on the fortunes of Northern Ireland’s Kris Meeke and Welshman Elfyn Evans.

“It’s a huge vote of confidence for our sport that both broadcasters were eager to renew their commitment to WRC for 2015,” said Oliver Ciesla, managing director of commercial rights holder WRC Promoter.

“WRC Promoter has developed new TV programmes during the last two seasons, especially Sunday’s live TV Power Stage, and the feedback we have received from both ITV4 and BT Sport during our negotiations have been extremely positive,” he said.

ITV4 will broadcast an hour-long highlights show following each round in a prime-time Tuesday evening slot, with additional daily programmes from the final round at Wales Rally GB (12 – 15 November).

The highlights programme will be repeated the following Saturday and ITV 4 has also committed to increase online coverage at www.itv.com.

BT Sport has renewed its agreement following a successful collaboration in 2014 which peaked with BT Sport presenter and ambassador, the former England test cricketer Graeme Swann, driving at Wales Rally GB for a documentary.

It will broadcast live stages from all 13 rounds, as well as event previews and post-rally highlights shows. Additionally, it will bring fans various programming from Wales Rally GB later this year.

BT Sport will also step up its coverage by screening classic archive programming featuring former British world champions Colin McRae and Richard Burns.
