Arsenal's season isn't over. We need to get top four again. We're not a cup team like Liverpool ;), we want to be in the Champions League next year so the season goes on.

Come on Damien l think you have to be realistic as Arsenal's chance of getting in the top 4 this season are hanging by a thread and many people think getting in the Europa League is the most likely end of season scenario and as regards to Liverpool we know where we are at the moment and its going to take some considerable time to challenge for the title again but at least we are on that road wherever Arsenal's road seems to be a road increasingly affected by potholes and they are becoming bigger and more perilous by the week judging by the Bradford and Blackburn results.

I have to agree (except point about liverpool being on the raod to recovery :) )

No team has done well this season, and apart from Man Utd, no place in the league standings is safe (including man City).

Partly that is about not buying players.

Arsenal it was about initial quality of players (trying to buy cheap, and not choosing well).

Man City, not strengthing when they should, and not getting rid of others (and ballo is in that).

Tottenham, issue is a striker, they were needing one, and for strange reason it has been ignored. that team would be not bad with a good striker (eg imagine Demba Ba and bale combo)

Chelsea is the puzzler, they have good players, it seems that they are playing below their potential. maybe things will change, particularly if they don't insist on torres playing, but make Ba main striker. I would sell Torres as soon as (had too many chances), and get another striker

---------- Post added at 13:31 ---------- Previous post was at 13:27 ----------

I notice Ba has his name on his mask. He is probably afraid to pick up the Torres mask, in case his luck at scoring rubs off :D.

Arsenal are only 4 points off the top 4. I hardly think that counts as the season being over. Even if many people think Europa League is most likely, we still have to actually play the games.

Quite happy knowing we've given Rogers the highlight of his season. It was either a case of fielding a full-strength team and beating Liverpool or resting key players for next week's final and still be in with the potential of beating Liverpool. I'm not too worried though, only 1 team in the Premiership will be playing at Wembley next week :)
