Sadly its council budgets cuts SnoopZ as some parts of the budget will have far more savages cuts then other parts of their budget.

I know that some of our local councils have given contracts to private sectors in the name of trying to save money from the yearly budget and sadly it is the public that suffer.

What most are finding is that many of these private contractors just don't seem up to the job whether that is because they have under budgeted or they just don't have the man power for the job is anyone's guess but sadly it is the public that suffer from the councils costly error in their wisdom to out source these services all in the name of savings!

We had a council guy come to fit a cellar door, he could not get round the back green as no one was in, so he took the latch of the back door finished his original job and put the latch back on and no one could get out or in, They promised to come back and fix it which they did not do. Lucky enough a handy neighbour fixed it, When I phoned the council to say we got it fixed ourselves, It was not even in their book.

This sort of thing really does not surprise me nash.

When I deal with anything I find the best thing to do is leave a paper trail example emails and if that is not possible get the name of person and department and if possible a direct dial phone number in whom your dealing with.

You have hit the nail on the head weenie, some are in court now try to prove the validity of their contracts that they interpret as being able to charge for services they aren't providing, we'd better hope they lose as some of these shysters have 25 year contracts to fleece the taxpayer.

Got blood test results on Friday.

I am anaemic, have a cholesterol of 7.7 and low Vitamin D. Statins prescribed for cholesterol and tablets for Vitamin D.

That's all I need with my diabetes, gastritis, tortuous oesophagus, failing eyesight. That and possible fibromyalgia which I'm still getting tested for.

Adverts promoting low sugar sweets.

Yet they fail to mention the artifical sweeteners that can be worse for your kids.

aspartame can be harmful,

Sorbitol can have a laxative effect, and any sweetener that ends in "tol"

Just read the comment on "Haribo Gold-Bears Original Flavor Gummi Candy, 5-Pound Bag. Packaging varies between Clear or Gold bag"

Sugar free polos also state not to a way too many otherwise they may have a laxative effect.

But like aspartame you need to consume rather a lot to get any problems.

Sometimes those options are better for people with health issues that are worsened with real sugar.

Turning down work, when you find out that you could have spent time with people who you get on with and have a laugh with. Ugh. What a moron I am.
