Not really. It's the same homophobic logic you used to try and mock someone elses taste but nevermind, I am not really in the mood to explain or justify my taste in TV to you or anyone else.

Who is that aimed at?

Techradar review of the TiVo box has been uploaded.

http://www.techradar.com/reviews/aud...-938954/review

They have give it 4 starts out of 5.

Interesting article

Will it keep the TiVo fans and television nuts happy? Yes. Is it the most powerful box on the market? Yes. But is it better than Sky's flagship 1TB Sky+ HD box? Not yet.

There is only one way to find out "FIGHT":D

So it does a butt-load more and costs the same/less than the 1TB box but isn't as good because of slight interface complexities brought on by the extra functionality?

Yet again, TechRadar FAIL ;)

At least they are both competing now, competition is a good thing.

You didn't say where you got the info from, hence me asking the question.

April the 4th is the official launch date for TIVO, thats when you can book an install. They are behind schedule they didn't except that it would create this much interest...

The huge amount of things that you can do are well laid out and simple enough, but it's still more complicated to do simple things than its closest rival; the Sky+HD 1TB box.

Just kidding passingbat we'll be here all night LOL.

It looks a good box and the potential is certainly there when everything is ironed out.

.

You could be right on that one. Having not got a tivo yet, I can't say, but I do wonder that if they wanted to, a person could just use it as a V+ (but with the extra recording space); i.e., just set series links and other recordings and ignore the extra functionality, making basic operation as simple as a V+?

Will TiVO get the Live Events Channel (Channel 0).

If it doesnt thats a major setback and all the WWE fans wont like it.

Of course TiVo will get it.
