My feeling is it'll be Peacock.

do you mean peacock launching in the UK? isnt a lot of their content on long term netflix contracts?

Yeah peacock would be obvious choice due to deal in the USA but DAZN are being aggessive towards getting content and have changed their stance on WWE so they are now in the running too.

But WWE, like Premier League football, is only available in the subscription packs on Peacock in the US and Sky have stated the UK version will be the ad-funded version.

It won't have 4K or HDR either, so I won't be watching it!

I wonder if this will also be the day when VM adds the Disney+ streamer to its platform.

It’s certainly due to arrive soon according to previous reports - this could be it!

Or not…

https://www.digitaltveurope.com/2021...or-disney-day/

[EXTRACT]

Disney+ is getting a month-long price drop as the company celebrates the second anniversary of the streamer.

Running November 8 – November 14, new and eligible returning subscribers can get one month of Disney+ for £1.99/US$1.99. The service typically costs £7.99/US$7.99 per month.

The service, which initially launched in a handful of markets in November 2019 including the US and the Netherlands, was at 116 million subscribers as of August. Disney+ is now available in more than 60 countries across North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific.

Dubbed ‘Disney+ Day’ by the company, Disney will bring high-profile content to the streamer on November 12 including Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Jungle Cruise and the second season of The World According to Jeff Goldblum.

Disney will also celebrate the event across its other business areas, with Disney+ subscribers who are visiting its US theme parks given entry 30 minutes early on November 12.

Right so regarding my "it's done" about DAZN and BTsports post, silly me had indeed mis-read the document it actually says "DAZN are very confident of getting the deal done with BTsport"
so i apologise for my error guys.

You won’t watch something if it’s not in 4K :D

If you’d have said SD I’d have agreed but on most peoples TV sets HD offers a pretty good picture.

Ha ha, I was just being ridiculous!

No, it's the ads that are putting me off. I would possibly subscribe if there was an ad free version if there was enough content on there which had not already been shown on Sky.

Of course he watches content that isn't 4K - he's paying for Virgin and Now TV. :D
