didn't know that. Are you sure it was just them ? Was this part of the Blatter we are only going to give it to South America this time and just waiting for the bids from there ?

I'm sure they can get the stadiums up to standard in time that should be fine, but it's just some of the issues around crime and safety for fans that worries me

Yep, the other bids dropped out, Columbia was the main contender but dropped out in April so it was just Brazil left with a bid. That's the main reason why FIFA have dropped the rotation policy, some continents don't have enough countries with the resources to hold a world cup, such as South America.

Now for another Sixteen grand in the first round proper against Aldershot hopefully.

the money will be good for us .
if we beat aldershot
will be hard
but who knows

Should be back in January sometime, he damaged cruciate knee ligaments against Blackburn last season.

Just heard that after Sven analysed the video of the 6-0 thrashing from Chelsea, he has decided to try and sign Rolf Harris to go between the sticks.:D

It would seem Stevenage Borough don't need any money though, how about this for a major coup.

From a personal point of view, I hope it doesn't work out for him :)

Odd to see Wenger smiling and the team celebrating after a draw at home, still, I think a draw was probably a fair result of the game.

Arsenal 2 Man Utd 2

I had a fiver on Utd to win 2-1 at 10/1. But for some reason I also stuck a fiver on a 2-2 draw at 12/1

Probably because they know how lucky they were to get a draw.

Hitting the bar and having a couple of good penalty shouts turned down constitutes lucky? Looked like they dominated large parts of the match to me, still Anderson looks like a typical United player diving, trying to get players booked, showing imaginary cards, he'll fit right in

Not really, after all, the late goal kept us top, which is worth at least a smile, plus we're coming out of the game with our confidence and unbeaten run intact for a change. It's not like we play a team of United's quality every week, after all.

I really mustn't follow tense games with my son in earshot - about the 83rd minute he came up and said 'Why are you shouting, Daddy? What's a tw*t?'.

We'll have to sign Craig Bellamy, so he can fit right in too. ;)
