dilli there is no right or wrong way in how one copes with the loss of a loved one happy pills or not. The only thing I can say is just take it one day at a time and try and not dwell on I should be feeling this way or that way as your coping in your own way and that's ok please remember that, just take it one day at a time :hugs:

Well while I was away on holiday for three weeks 2 pipes burst at home.
They then spewed water out for best part of 2 weeks.
The result was ceilings in four rooms collapsed in and the whole ground floor was flooded. Ive just had a call to say that the artexed ceilings contain asbestos and as such everything in those rooms has to be removed and destroyed.
Thatll be the kitchen, dining room, bathroom and lounge at least.
All personal possessions, pictures ornaments etc to be skipped....
It was only September when we finally completed refurbishment of every room in the house. :(

Mum sadly has had a fall this morning coming down the stairs as her leg just gave way so Dad phoned for a ambulance at 9.30 and it has still not arrived stating they have not got one available currently so they have with great difficulty got Mum into the car and are going to the hospital themselves.:(

That's disgusting. I hope she makes a full recovery den. And you need to question why they have/had no ambulances available.

Hope it's nothing to serious den although I do think it is shocking about the ambulance but sadly with all the cutbacks I'm not surprised.

They got her to the hospital eventually and thankfully she has been triaged to the front of the queue and she is going to be taken to the main hospital which serves the city of Portsmouth by ambulance when they have one free..

She was brought home late yesterday evening weenie and thankfully there are no broken bones but she has a increasing deterioration of the back and has been referred to the orthopaedic consultant and according to what they told her they think she might have spondylolisthesis.

Thanks weenie as we are all glad she is back home but there will be quite a few changes to make life easier for her in the future.

Just gets worse but am told that its still not bad enough that I would be able to register partially sight/vision Impaired.
