So long as the money is sustainable, by any means shall I add, UEFA will do sod all! Every other team can moan all they like. The real sanctions will only come into play when the extremes come to light and thats money drying up.

Good I hope they don't do anything, there is nothing fair about ffp, it's about the big clubs protecting their position at the top of the tree and keeping the upstarts in their place.

Well more precisely it stops billionaire upsets. It would actually help other clubs like Southampton or Everton by allowing them to build up slowly without getting overtaken and it would help stop wage inflation buy forcing the clubs higher up to curtail their contracts. It may even help stop the relatively new practise of the rich clubs buying up players who will rarely, if ever, get to play first team football. Anyone remember Jack Rodwell? Scott Sinclair?

Personally I would like to see FFP work alongside other changes such as a European wage cap and better division of wealth amongst the leagues (like the PL does).

Anyway FFP only stops the little guy if you think the little guy is a club that has recently got a billionaire owner who is ready to buy world class players. It helps the clubs that want to grow organically.

One for thenry (from BBC gossip page)

Dutch striker Robin van Persie, 30, could return to Arsenal at the end of the season after being left disillusioned following the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson from Manchester United.

Off to The Arsenal. Going to be a hard game today. A lot harder than some seem to expect. Sitting near the away bench too so am going to have to look at Pulis. Ugh.
