Yet another Montepulciano d'abruzo but tonight it's the new ASDA's own brand Extra Special stuff which has just started appearing (and disappearing) on the shelves.

Hats off to the ASDA wine buyers for consistently delivering. This stuff is really very good for the price.

Gentleman Jack, after having some Woodford Reserve.

Both were on special offer in Tesco the other week, and i hadn't tried either :) I wouldn't pay full price for either again, there's better value for money drinks out there, but with best part of £10 off Gentleman Jack is v good, much nicer than regular JD, which I'm not that fussed about.
