You will of course be supporting your nearest local team , at whatever level, so won't have to walk far...

I'm lazy and i dont like leaving my house because I dislike the majority of people out there. inside its me, my bed and my cat. i want as much football coverage on tv as possible to watch in the background

Advert now running on the V6 box saying:

"From 11th August, the U app will be the only way to watch U&Dave, U&Drama, U&W and U&Yesterday on demand.

You can discover shows using Search or launch the U app via your Catch Up or Apps Menu."

This joins BBC, ITV and Channel 4 which have already moved to app only Catch Up.

U&Alibi, U&Gold and U&Eden are not affected.

£6 at my local club. Far more entertaining than the Premiership too. It does involve switching the tv off and going outside the front door which is admittedly scary for a lot of the population.

I go both home and away matches mate, also i go and see my local non league team too when my team aren't playing.

I wonder if U and Virgin Media has sign an new broadcasting deal?

The UKTV did relaunch on Virgin Media around early August when they fell out years ago.

Will U&Eden move to an higher EPG Channel number?

Found that out after my last post on here.

Look like V6 boxes are here to stay for a wee bit longer.

I noticed the same. The UKTV app was launched with great fanfare on the TV360 middle of last year, and quietly appeared on my V6 late last year.

I was playing with U-OD last week, and noticed a couple of programmes were loading directly in the app instead of OD. I'd assume this was testing, because I can't replicate it now. It looks like the app is being used for the FTA channels, but the pay ones remain on in-house VoD.

Agreed with others, this is not the sign of a box about to be retired.

Don't have rights to it?

Since when? Where's the link to this news?

Well I have just taken out my first and last TV Licence.

I had to as the one in my dads name just finished, and in March 2026, I'm planning on cancelling my VM TV (I'm not paying £122 pm), I will keep BB. If it can I'll dump the phone as well (I've heard its cheaper with BB.

I'm fed up of the constant need to type in an age code to stop under 18s. I'm 56 and there are no under 18s in my family let alone my home.

Plus I have 1,072 DVDs, Blu-Rays & 4Ks to watch, plus Prime & NetFlix to watch

they're not using tivo going forward with the new box so im fairly sure there must be a final end date for using tivo software?? virgin media will keep paying for it each year i'd imagine and will probably want to get rid of that as soon as possible?

There are still lots of people using Tivo platform on VM clearly if the U app has been added and is being supported on it. And customers are still able to get their V6 replaced if they break (we did the other week) rather than be forced onto Horizon TV360 software.
