would not be surprised if it next year for that same time as BT gets it

Same sources say Sky Atlantic HD may launch in 2019*.

*But till we start seeing tests being reported this is still subject to change.

But talking of Sky we was watching Sky News last night and we saw BBC News on in the background.

Now we know where Sky get all the "Sky Sources" from.:D

I've just seen an article on What Hi-FI?

They are reporting that the Sky Q box is getting a HDR update any day soon.

Hopefully VM will follow suit and rollout this update for the V6 too.

There's no reason why this shouldn't happen. I'm surprised they've not done this already. Incredible to think that the techies were telling the world that Sky were not as up to speed with their Sky Q box as Virgin with their V6, and yet they've beaten Virgin to the post yet again.

Virgin Media really needs to move a bit quicker and give Sky a run for their money.

Virgin are introducing HDR compatibility for Netflix on its boxes aren’t they

I’m pretty sure the Sky HDR will be for it’s Sports broadcasts I’d imagine although I expect it will be introduced for On Demand as well at some stage.

Eventually! But hopefully, we will get some more sources of UHD content before long.

Good to hear. All we will need then is some more UHD content!

MTV OMG has launched on channel 318.

Channel AKA (previously available via the AATW app on channel 345 and in Apps & Games) has been withdrawn.

Clubland TV continues with Now 80s & Now 90s both also available via the app.

Interesting Article - Sky brings Netflix on board from BBC website

The satellite broadcaster will allow viewers to watch Netflix shows on its Sky Q platform later this year.

Customers will pay for Netflix as part of their Sky bill, although prices have not yet been announced.

Are VM waiting to announce something similar with Amazon??

Think I'm being optimistic, but hopefully sparks the forum into life.
Hope everyone is ok and not too badly snowed in.

Freesports is now available on TV Player leaving Virgin Media as the only TV provider in the UK not to carry it.

Yikes, how embarrassing for VM, so often the last one to secure new channels.
