Thing is that Sky own all the HD movie channels or at least a large share in the only other non sky branded on, MGM. So until Film4 goes HD and seeing as C4 has embraced HD then there is a good chance. But then again C4 seems to have a relationship with Sky so we would miss out on that as well.

Cartoonito and Military History are they only other confirmed channels.

Yep thats what I said a few posts back Film4 HD we could have, would be awesome.

You'd think now HD has been around a while and lots of people have HD ready tvs, that a lot of the channels will be going HD this year.

We should get ITV HD and Five HD this year as there going on freeview.

Bravo HD would be good.

im not being funny but most of the shows shown on Bravo are that old they were shot SD anyway and not even in widescreen. if Bravo went HD we would be looking at a square image in the middle of the screen just like Family guy on FX HD.

But they do show modern shows as well, all there old shows are in 4:3 anyway so you still get them in a square in SD.

The last stat I read said that something like 65% of the UK had a HDTV.

I got an email from UKTV today:

So it look to me as -

A) Virgin and UKTV has sign an new deal.
or B) UKTV has forgot to tell their workers.

Can anyone who know give us the latest.

Bravo have new shows also. TNA in HD, they could have the Worlds stongest man in HD.

With the Military History Channel coming then obviously VM have signed a new contract with AETN (the channel's owners).

I wonder if that means that History +1 will finally show up on ex-TW?

I would also suggest it means there's a good chance that History HD will show up as part of the 'many HD channels coming soon'.
