Well on that point I would wager that Scholes, Fabregas and one or two more would rank higher on the defence splitting pass table.
For what it is worth Shearer would get my vote as the best outfield player in the history of the Premiership. |
Re: Football Season 2014/15
If United do finish 4th (i.e Arsenal don't lose the next two games) will they be in the unseeded part of the draw? Their UEFA coefficient would have taken quite a battering from their absence last year and poor performance the year before. The play-off is difficult even for the seeded teams.

Uniteds poor performance the year before, they reached the quarter finals.

Should have been a United win IMO, Arsenal very fortunate with the own goal.

The agents are just doing their jobs in a sport that is thriving.
FFP to be relaxed isn't a surprise so more money can be pumped into the game. http://www.espnfc.com/blog/marcottis...antini-changes http://www.theguardian.com/football/...P=share_btn_tw |

Is Sterling even that good? The stats would say no and hes been anonymous in the second half of the season. I'm not sure how many big clubs would want him/want to pay how much hes asking for. English hype again.

Re: Football Season 2014/15
Man City will most probably find out.

Re: Football Season 2014/15
Not sure who to put my money on this weekend, on the one hand I think Hull might get a draw from United if de Gea is not playing but cannot see Newcastle losing much as I want them to.

Saw some mutterings on Twitter earlier, I assumed he was either joining as a coach or we were so hard up for players to join that he was playing. If he is half as good a manager as he was a striker, then Stevenage in the Premier League within 10 years.

I find it very hard to judge players outside of Arsenal unless they're obviously very, very good. I don't watch enough football so only end up seeing the likes of Sterling a couple or so times a season. He hasn't made a big impression on me in that limited viewing. |

---------- Post added at 21:47 ---------- Previous post was at 21:46 ---------- Oh and congrats Dave42! I don't especially like or dislike Sunderland - they kind of just exist there doing not much - but the team didn't deserve relegation when there are teams like Newcastle around. |
Re: Football Season 2014/15
Congrats to Sunderland, l watched the game and they were brilliant. The only thing l didn't like was the old Arsenal dirty tricks.
Going down for the old free kick and Walcott having a go at the Lino as he didn't get a free kick. Now all Sunderland have to do is keep Advocate |

Liverpool should make him play in the reserves for 2 years, see what he's worth to his agent then. |

Derby aren't in the Premier League though, so no worries about him not being ready for a Premier League job.
Anyway, jubilation for me this afternoon as it was confirmed Westley leaving Stevenage at end of May, with Sheringham coming in to replace him. Thank Christ for that, now for a good run next season and get promotion to League 1. |

Ahhh, Just seen the Fellaini challenge, that's horrific and that's an absolute horror challenge, dragged his studs and tore open his leg. If that isn't enough he follows through into his head with the knee. If you could get 2 red cards for one foul, this was one of them. Crazy stuff.

What an utterly soulless, library - like place the Etihad is.
If it hadn't been for our excellent fans singing you could have heard a pin drop. I can't believe they are extending the place when about 5000 of their fans failed to turn up. So anyway, If we want Europa League we need you Arsenal types to win the FA cup...... |
