I was wondering then I seen the link. Fail story from a fail paper. Yeah Alan Pardew will walk away from a job that he earns thousands for and doesn't even have to perform well. The other side is Crystal Palace approaching him and compensating Newcastle which is even more unlikely given the huge contract he has.

It's barely better than nothing, it's not comparable to champions league qualification for instance but if people genuinely prefer that then they clearly aren't very fussy.

It was extremely blatant and in my humble opinion deserved a red.

hunble my ass. there was a covering player. there would be at least 10 red cards each week if that was red.

Great win, Chelsea were off today by a mile but still could have rescued it and will probably feel aggrieved the referee saw nothing in Mbiwa playing as the goalkeeper with that slide come save with his hand. Chelsea with 2 on target all game compared to our 8, can see who's possession meant more.

Yes l know there was a covering player but it was as blatant as you can get and players should be punished more for that type of offence.

Sturridge has been taking lessons from rat boy it seems, blatant dive there, surprised the commentators didn't pick up on it...

Yes it was a dive and deserved a booking.

All over now and no surprise as we cannot defend properly.

Well played Arsenal. Liverpool have been knocked down a peg. Not strong enough for the title but Top 4 is hardly that much of an ask.

A poor selection from the start as we have given Arsenal too much respect.

going with a back 3 isnt exactly showing major respect. and has it not got anything to do with Arsenal being a much better side?

Arsenal are a better side technically and l have never denied that but we have failed to press press and press.:(

Liverpool have much better forwards whilst arsenal have the better midfield and defence given for whatever reason they decided playing 3 at the back against a top team was a good idea.

This season, win your home games, hope you win away seems to be the norm

You have Arsenal , Chelsea and the Manchester clubs to start with and we have not got enough quality in depth.

I can see Mourinho, looking for a new job soon. They were expected to beat Newcastle.
