Zuppe de clams (for starter), filet Mignon with corn on the cob and sautéed mushrooms (for main), and Apple tart with strawberries (washed down with a Muscat) for afters.

Preceded by two very dry martinis, washed down with a 2000 Bordeaux, followed by some single malt.

Sleepy times now.....

Chicken Risotto - made with white wine stock, then finish off the cooking with 50g of Parmesan folded in, which gives it a whole new (very good) taste.

Aha home made burger here too, minus the chili, served with Farfalle in Sacla "Pronto" vine ripened tomato and pancetta pasta sauce which receives a big thumbs up here.

I bought 3 2kg chickens at the market today for £5. No space in the freezer, so I cooked one as Poule au Pot in the pressure cooker, roast another, and the last one went into Algerian Couscous. No cooking for a few days for me. :)
