To get the authentic experience, it's best projected on to a white sheet on a wall through a cloud of steam, and viewed through some net curtains - you get the real "grainy" look then.

The Marcel Marceau black and white silent version is quite good as well.

Peter Rabbit 8/10
Well, I wasn't expecting much, but kids wanted to see it, reviews weren't promising, however the missus enjoyed it, I enjoyed it, and the kids enjoyed it, well I assume they did, I was too busy laughing to notice, but I didn't hear them crying :)

It's very funny, Domhnall Gleeson (Star Wars' Hux, Potter's Bill Weasley) as Mr McGregor is brilliant, shows he really is a very versatile actor.

The film doesn't take itself seriously and does a good job of parodying kids'/family films :)

Ready Player One (IMAX 3D) - 9/10

Loved it, and all the call-backs to films, comics, games running all the way through the film (and it helps if you've lived through the 80s and 90s to get a lot of them).

Tomb Raider 7.5/10.

This was better than I expected from the trailers, very entertaining, if somewhat predictable in places.

Utterly fantastic. Loved spotting all the little references.

Rampage: 4/10

This is a weird one. On one hand it is a generic action disaster movie and before any of you cough up some £££ to see it at the cinema don't bother; it is definitely a Sunday afternoon joby. The action and special effects are good and it is very run of the mill, the reason why I had to give it less than 5/10 is because in some places it is just annoyingly bad either with the story, the acting or the dialogue. Still worth a watch though. One of the things which really really annoyed me though while I am thinking about it is Neegan. I am saying Neegan rather than the actor's name because the dude who plays Neegan from TWD is in it and he is Neegan. He walks the same, talks the same, stands the same, same flipping mannerisms and everything. THAT'S NOT ACTING!

It is based on a very old videogame and one that didn't really have much of a story so expected it to be action and not much else.

Glad I'm not the only one to remember the franchise, albeit I only played the sequels from the late 90s.

Already seen potential Infinity War spoilers pop up on my facebook feed, wary whether to check the validity of them. Pretty miffed :erm:

Go off grid till you see it then. It is out at midnight tonight and you know there are going to be dicks spoiling it left, right and center tomorrow. I am sure you can go without facebook for a couple of days.

I think i enjoyed it more than i should have done because Jennifer Lawrence is in it. Without her it would have been an okay thriller but she bumps it up a few points.
