Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news

good evening gents

two questions for you tonight:

1) can we not watch sky sports news on a laptop via virgin tv anywhere? ie the normal process? it seems to load straight to the sky sports website

2) how many devices can we log into for it? i've got my phone accessed, i had my old phone accessed recently but ive now deleted the app of it and it wont let me access via the laptop. Do i need to wait a certain time? Is there anyway i can track this??

I thought we'd get tv anywhere usual process on computers/laptops plus this new sky sports website way...obviously not?

Many thanks you handsome gents and ladies

Ok Vince.
Seeing as everyone is ignoring you I'll try and give you my understanding.
To access any Sky sports channels via VM you have to go through sky sports.

You can however have different devices for VM and Sky.

My mac an iPad is registered to SKY and my mac and iPhone are registered to VM anywhere. You can change devices only 1 a month.

You can view and change devices via Vm anywhere settings

The sky go app allows you to have two devices added to it. Not sure about Sky sports app, just try and add devices until they say you have reached your limit. With the Sky go app, I think you can only change the devices 4 times a month, I don't think there is a limit for any period longer than a month.

Haha cheers you two I'll give it a go later. I feel less pathetic now. I tried accessing virgin media tv anywhere to watch sky sports and it automatically loaded up the sky go website. Quite queer!

Watching the build up to the grand prix on the Sky Sports website with my Virgin login on the laptop in the kitchen as I'm cooking the Sunday lunch, and I have to say the process is easy and the streaming quality is amazingly good. Good job all round.

If the SKY Sports season pass still only available to Big Bang and Big Kahuna customers? My Dad cancelled SKY Sports at the end of last season and planned to add it back to his package this week. Problem is he only has TV XL, no broadband or telephone. He fancied the season pass but I don't think it's available to him. Is there any other SKY Sports deals etc....

Yes, still only available to the two Big Bundles you quoted.

The pass is a significant saving over the normal price and they're certainly not going to give it to anyone with only one service.

Presumably it's a red button service for when it has a full schedule across its three channels but has a good event worth showing. Or it's a barker channel which will show the odd Champions League and Europa League match next season. Or both.

My half price three month deal on Sky Sports has ended so I rang up with a view to either cancelling it or reducing my package in other areas to cover the cost of it, and was promptly offered a further 3 months at half price, which will take me nicely to the end of my loyalty discount in December when I shall have another think - so anybody else with the Sports channels might want to consider a little phone call!
