which is why i reckon the premier league are terrified of moving away from sky and doing their own app. They could potentially make more money but you could have people quitting after a few months and no secure money. the premier league love their guaranteed money!

plus sky know premier league football is absolutely vital for them

I'm not sure whether it was already broadcasting in HD, but the channel name and logo for ITV Quiz (channel 119) has had the HD suffix added.

''HD'' was added to ITV Quiz logo last Friday (July 11th).

Re: Virgin TV (2025)

so i think this is right still

La Liga Premier Sports TBA until 2027-28
Ligue 1 Pass Live from 2024/25 to 2028/29
Bundesliga Sky Sports Live from 2025–26
Italy Serie A TNT 2 Live games per round until 2026-27
DAZN All games live until 2026-27
Eredivisie Triller TV Four matches per-week live on Triller TV+
Portugal Liga Portugal Triller TV Live on Triller TV+ until 2025-26

absolutely ridiculous how spread out the football tv rights are now. i'd love to know the ratings for La Liga being on bloody premier sports and i'd also be intrigued to know the ratings of ligue 1. I imagine it can be counted on one hand?

I know its old fashioned, but just go to the match? Who has the tv rights/ your subscriptions is then irrelevant, and you'll see it it in the highest definition possible ( eyesight permitting).
You will of course be supporting your nearest local team , at whatever level, so won't have to walk far...

£60 a ticket nowadays is quite a lot if you say a family of 4 that's £240 for just one match then add into the cost travel expenses, parking, food you could be looking at over £300.

£6 at my local club. Far more entertaining than the Premiership too. It does involve switching the tv off and going outside the front door which is admittedly scary for a lot of the population.
