Trump is right to pull out on a virtual debate, it will be a Anti-Trump debate with a moderator who cuts off Trump and gives Biden a chance to have all his scripts to hand via his team, teleprompter, his wife holding his hand, the poor man Biden has had it rough, last week he seemed to be complaining that he joined the Senate 180 years ago.

Seems like Trump needs the debates more than Biden though. Given Biden's lead he would be happy to wait out the clock and hope no events - such a debate - change the direction of the race. Given Biden's risk of gaffes no debates suits him.

Totally agree - normally, as the long-term underdog, Trump's best strategy would be to give Biden the rope to hang himself with, get off him off-guard by being nice and not interrupting, that kind of thing.

But it's pretty clear that Trump is not 100% recovered. A slurry, dazed and confused Trump would put a bad message out to the nation and weaken his vote further.

Used properly, this is a great opportunity for Biden.

Other than that, Trump has prolly made the right decision if he is not on top form.

He's definately not on top form.

Interesting listening to the actual "tiny fish aren't doing well without water" phone interview on Fox News.

add... It seems Mr Trump has been waging war on the "tiny Fish" since at least 2016. Here's a link to the actual reasons the "tiny fish" are so important.

A 2019 study by Rosenfield and his colleagues at the San Francisco Bay Institute and the Nature Conservancy found that the amount of water the pumps could pull was most often limited by the need to keep saltwater at bay. If enough fresh water isn’t, to paraphrase Donald Trump, shoved out to sea, the sea will shove into shore, flooding the estuary with salt water. “And, no one wants salt water,” Rosenfield says. “You cannot apply saltwater to farmland. That’s what the Romans did to punish their enemies.”

Joe Biden has said again today on the campaign trail he's a Democrat running for the Senate.

If some of us were led to believe the polls, and Biden wins then he will have the 25th Amendment thrown his way by his own side... ;)

I honestly don't think he meant what that clip is trying to imply. What was said before and after it? Has it been taken out of context?

God forbid. I mean Trump has never been edited or taken out of context so I doubt it would happen to Biden.
