Roma president wants to takeover Newcastle. Good luck. People with more money have tried.

Another 2 club banker?

I notice watford have been buying 'swapping' players between clubs again

Watford have signed Udinese winger Ignacio Pussetto for £7m on a four-and-a-half-year deal.

Udinese owner Giampaolo Pozzo is the father of Watford owner Gino.

Roma is in the process of being sold so he'll ultimately be free. Just not sure he quite knows what he's dealing with here. If he's expecting to just land up in Newcastle with the idea of buying the club he's in for a shock. As above. People with more money have tried.

I get the feeling Ashley doesn't really want to sell . .

Possibly the worst performance I have seen at home. Nothing will get better until the Glazers thieving hands are removed.

Any idea of how much that would cost, and anyone who would want to pay it?

I guess you could become a rich <insert nationality here> plaything instead of an American one :p:

The big difference between the Glazers and the Chelsea, Man City, PSG owners is the fact they lumbered the most profitable club in the world with massive debts and to date have also leeched over 1 billion pounds out of the club.

Vague rumours about the Saudis a while back but they are even more toxic than the PSG and Man City image washing arabs.

After Hicks and Gillett anything was bound to bzrushes an improvement. They do appear to be as interested in what goes on on the field as well as looking at the bottom line.

l wanted to ask your opinion as sometimes some supporters are blinded by their rose tinted loyalties to a club.

How on Earth did be become bzrushes???

I will say that I don’t subscribe to the current hype about Liverpool being the greatest side the world has seen etc, etc.

It’s very much more of a Leicester City thing imho. When the Foxes won the league everyone rightly pointed out that the so called big six at that time were inconsistent, taking points of each other.

I cannot remember a time during the Premiership years when Man United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs have all been so unpredictability average at the same time. Man City have also slipped a little, failing to recruit in certain areas this season.

This Liverpool side is a very good side but it is not as good as the City side of the last two seasons, the Chelsea Premiership winning teams, Arsenal’s invincibles or the United sides who won the Premiership 3 times on the trot on 2 separate occasions.

Perhaps if they stuck to the method of continuity the consistency would not be as bad.

Indeed City have leaked goals all season which has cost them.

Who said they were as good as any of those sides?

What Liverpool do have is a manager who's methods get the best out of every player and a club system of getting the right players in instead of throwing 100 million here and a 100 million there and hoping it will produce trophies.
