It's the truly intelligent TV that does episode management, personal scheduling and recommendation across on-demand and live services that is the missing piece at the moment. But as I mentioned before there are so many obstacles that make it really hard for that to be realised. Which annoys me as it's a project I'd love to run.

Having recently used the Demand5 App's OnDemand for the first time, I was pleased to find 5*'s X-Files Essential Collection programmes were showing in HD - I hope that's true of the new service, too. It's a shame the TiVo versions don't hang around for long - my Sony TV's version of the App keeps them for a month rather than a week.

Looks much better and now option to register which i hope will be like all4 where you can add shows to a favourite list.

Virgin Media UK sources has today confirm that no new channels are schedule to launch on Virgin Media UK up to April 2016.

London Live may be on a knife edge as it's owner has announced that he is to stop printing the Independent titles.

Both companies are currently making losses; even rich people can't subsidise loss making companies forever.

Can't find the exact quote right now but Levedev has said he is committed to the station and it hopes to break even by 2017.

Really can't see the appeal of it other than as a Channel 4 +20 years for people who only have Freeview. Pity Channel One never lasted as that was much better in doing what it was supposed to do.
