Agreed. When I subscribed to Lovefilm, it was available on my Sony 370 blueray player. Not only was there content missing, but the interface was slow and clunky.


I hope they incorporate 5.1 into the Tivo app; surely the fact that Netflix has 5.1 should spur them on to add it and a new app would be the opportune time. Not holding my breath though.

The following week, repeat.

Eventually someone is going to be right but until VM say "this channel is launching then I won't believe a word of it".

I do not know what going on I was only going on rumours started by Asian Channel on DS Forum. But base on info from Virgin Media Viewers Disney HD was down as 'set to launch' but I ever got it confirmed as launching by insiders I know.

Spot on mate which is why i only pm a very select couple of people , i get my info from sources and all i can do is relay what i've been told. Wether or not it's true i have no idea but as you know some of my info was inline with other info not mentioned yet on these forums.
Some people here don't seem to understand the difference between rumour and, when we say "so and so channel is rumoured to launch this week" they seem to forget to read "rumoured" and take it as fact lol.
There are only 2 people who i pm on here i don't know Den well enough yet lol but he seems trustworthy so if he wants in then that's fine i don't mind pming him info too.

Media Boy updates all the rumours.

-As far as I'm aware all the UPC HD Channels are still launching - may launch before October*.
-I suspect FOX+ may launch this week though but I'm only speculating on that*.
-I am also hearing rumours that More4 HD may launch this week*.

Same here, it seems to be that Virgin are launching at least 1 channel a month this year (excluding July), so we have either had our +1's at the start, or we have to wait till october!

Wishful thinking a lot of the time perhaps.. It is amazing how quickly a rumour can turn into a claim that some re-quoted information actually came from within Virgin Media. More often than not, a quick check of the original comment will prove that the source wasn't VM at all.

I don't take these things too literally, perhaps it just means that 141 will be used as More4 HD is added. I would think that there would be a reshuffle of existing channels as it was added, to give a more logical order.

Aha! now that you mention it, it would also make sense to move Sky 1 and Sky 1 HD to 119/120 if Sky Atlantic is added. Keeping the main channels in the most prominent positions on the EPG.

Anyway splitting hairs here end of the day whether it was made up, guess or hunch it unfortunately appears Expectation of universal Hd imminent arrival attributed to the original poster from DS appears to be false (as Howard has kindly shared on here before with universal response)

Not really splitting hairs, saying that it was made up is suggesting that it was a deliberate attempt to mislead people. There are many comments based on hunches and guesswork on coming soon threads, it's not that unusual. Ultimately the only word we can totally depend on is that of VM but as they don't generally announce anything in advance, we have coming soon threads instead. :p:

There's certainly a lot of good programmes on Universal at the moment, they appear to have upped their game. It would, indeed, be nice to be able to watch them in HD on VM.

True mate but after getting jumped on on Dspy i'mm very very careful what i post now , i posted on Dspy that SYFY would be in M+ pack and got jumped on and thread got removed and i got banned. 3 days after i posted , what happened? SYFY was put into the M+ pack.
