We were discussing this earlier. I got mixed up. I thought it was Red Rum that was kidnapped. the kidnappers sent one of its legs to the owner and threatened him to pay up the ransom money or else the horse will never run again.

but it was Shergar. Red Rum died.

Well Mark l would never put someone off a horse but l am not sure this horse has the required class to win it although as usual l can be wrong most of the time.:)
