Just been on a good night out in Athens - strongly recommend the A for Athens Cocktail bar (great view of the Parthenon), Kuzina for good food and wine, taf (the art foundation) if you are in the mood to listen to jazz and mix with hipsters, Vrettos, Gin Joint, then two bars a couple of blocks from the hotel whose name I can't remember (the bars, not the hotel...).

Time for bed - it's just before 2am here, and I need to be up at 6:30am....

l hope you have a nice holiday Tinky and lets hope there is more sun then rain as we are on holiday ourselves in 3 weeks for 5 days but we are venturing down to Hendra holiday park which is about 50 miles away.

Many thanks Jo, as you know because of recent bereavement, we are looking forward more than ever to getting away this time. Got the case packed, haven't forgotten the camera. Must admit to thinking that this holiday had come at just the right time for you Tinky. As for me I am OK, still battling on and each day is sweet.

Come back safely and we will all be looking forward to seeing a few of your holiday photographs. Don't forget the lens cover if you overdo the Vimto. :D
