Re: TiVo

My TiVo last night recorded on BBC1HD Eastenders in the suggestion box .Thought all recordings for suggestions as default where recorded in SD.

Side note.. 20 hours of HD and 10 hours of SD 22% of HDD used...most i have used, had TiVo since 26th feb

Those that say TiVo not worth money... i give it 10/10 much much better than V+

PS- yes i was lucky(VERY LUCKY) enough to get 1 free but would have paid for TiVo!! :)

That's good to know, hopefully that is another bug fixed.

I'm now counting down the days until TiVo install... 5 days to go :D

When did you get your email? I signed up for pre-registration on Day 1 and I've received no emails yet, so was wondering if I had won a free one or there are just delays emailing us all.

Did you actually receive the draw flyer in the post and enter the competition online? They were sent in February I think, I got one.

The 'no win' emails seemed to get sent last week.

No, I didn't receive the flyer, but did enter the competition online and received an email on 19th Feb confirming that I'd find out if I won by the 20th?

I got the email last week saying I hadn't won but I had switched to Sky since entering so no real surprise as I no longer have XL.

I didn't get the other '16th Feb' email you refer to so I don't know what the procedure with that is, sorry.

I'm not VM staff - but for what it's worth I got TiVo by pre-registering (I'm a series 1 owner). When I go my call they took the £149 from my card - I think they then credit that amount onto your bill and then take it off to pay for the TiVo (does that make sense?? :dunce: )

The best £149 i've spent in a long while! Loving the TiVo :D
