It may not matter that it is not there at the moment for the launch, but if it is still not there in a months time, that is pretty poor in my opinion.

I haven't used the red button, nor plan to. Should I blame myself? Just gimme 1TB storage and intelligent recording now!

A major lacking to you not me as I never use it.

Virgin are implementing it at the moment and it's due to roll out in August, I can live with that.

No amount of pushing will make TiVo Red Button arrive any quicker. It's currently in development with the TiVo Team.

A lot of customers have multi-room subs, so it's not such a big issue for them. It's a high priority and will arrive as soon as possible.

Just that you won't be able to watch the practise on the red button service with TIVO :)

I can stream it on my PC while I'm working.

Hi all, I might not be on the correct thread as this is my first time on CF. I am a VIP50 customer from the Cardiff area. I have noticed that the picture quality over the last 3 days has been particularly bad on both my V+HD and VHD boxes. There have also been numerous error codes appearing and a warning that some of my recordings will be deleted because I have exceeded my capacity even though it shows that the hard drive is only 25% full. Is this anything to do with TiVO updates continualy being sent out across the network? I am also a pre-release registered interest in TiVo user with VM. Still no sign of an offer from VM regarding TiVo in the Cardiff area.

Any errors with your existing STBs will be unconnected to TiVo

Many thanks BenMcr fo the quick reply. I will have to ring VMCS to report a fault. Seems to be worse after ugrading from VIP 20 to VIP 50. Don't know if there is any connection. Looking forward to TiVo when I get the chance.

DF, any chance of passing up our remarks about having the red button feeds broadcast "in the clear" on a few unused channel numbers?

Would be a good workaround while waiting for the red button to come to TIVO boxes.

A quick question. I pre-registered and entered the online draw for Tivo. I know I wont have won the machine but I am wondering am I guaranteed to be contacted by email by the Tivo team before the full launch?

If you pre-reg'd then, yes.

I also have a feeling that the pre reg's are going to get a good deal... don't quote me though :D ;)

Surely if we give you a little holiday somewhere can you reveal all the news you know but won,t tell us.

I would hope that the pre-regs would get the same deal as those that have already had installs outwith the free machines - £149 with no install charge and £3 per month.
