Re: Changes to Virgin TV (2022)

The channels are in a logical order which does not match the EPG order but it doesn't really matter as the programme still records. Often get similar issues on SkyQ where a series link changes to a different BBC1 nation.
It will actually pick the one which starts first if they are not on all regions at once.

Re: Changes to Virgin TV (2022)

After some playing it seems that a Series Link+ records from the highest EPG number - so would be BBC1 Wales for BBC1.

The only thing I think can be confusing is that if you set the link on channel 101 - you may expect to see it on there if you don't realise a link+ could record from another channel number instead.

EXCLUSIVE: "Talks ongoing" to keep Create & Craft on Virgin Media after relaunch.

Hochanda Global Limited has just reveal to Media Boy UK that they are still in talks with Virgin Media UK over Create & Craft staying on Virgin after Thursday.

I was also told "We hope to be able to update all of our customers soon."

Understand BUT all are set to BBC 1 Wales on 101. Never use any channel to many channel s recording same thing!

But BBC1 Wales is also higher up which is exactly the same channel. It was previously BBC1 Wales SD which was a different channel but now everybody in London, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have BBC1 duplicated.

Hmmm! I wonder if the new owners of Ideal World will also enter into talks with Virgin about the future of their channel...

It probably got messed up when Virgin removed the regional version and redirected 101 to use the same video / audio streams as the version on channel 864.

I think the broadcaster only need a new deal with their old deal is up. Or when a broadcaster is took over or merger.

So I think when a Warner Media and Discovery MERGER deal happen Warner Bros. Discovery will need a new broadcast deal with Virgin.
