Talking of gargage, Babestation may be closing on VM when the contract expires as they seek to cut carriage costs and a new SD to HD service is rolled out:

We think MTV CLASSIC will launch on Virgin Media UK.

Nope.

But if we was Virgin we would put VIVA information screen on Channel 318 for two weeks, and put MTV LOVE (MTV OMG) on Channel 317. That all.

But this is Virgin we are talking about.

Well, many people who read this thread are looking out for more and more channels. Someone has to say it like it is, because this is not where most of our new content will be coming from in the future.

That's not what I said. What I was saying was that there won't be many more conventional channels coming soon. Eventually, it will be streaming and on demand services only.
