I cannot comment. All I'll say is it would have been better with you on the trial.

Hey when was the last time you heard me complaining about VM? Every post I've made in this thread so far has been commending them on the SuperDud 2

Its called the Superhub 2

Remember that, stop the childish name calling.

Cool, do tell us what you have been delivered. Could just be a SH1 as it's a self-install.

It would be fair to say that VM have taken on board all the triallist comments received and have then prioritised the fixes. The triallists have selectively been given firmware updates - which contain quite a bit of diagnostic code.

You are quite right, Qasi, there was nothing broken to begin with (not quite what you said, but that would would be right).

As the SH2 is now on general release, with the original firmware v1.01.19 you'll be seeing the customers repeating what we triallists reported at the time. There were unexplained T4 events, which I no longer see and which for me was fixed several weeks ago; there is a DHCP renew anoyance that in the original firmware causes the SH2 to "cough" rather than stop breathing; I never see that cough and I'm in router mode.

So, as I interpret your observation, Qasi, this is a credible device.

No it won't be. Quickstart deliveries take 3 working days.

To be fair, boozer71 originally mentioned it on Friday (I think) so could be tomorrow.
Are you aware of any Self Install for the SH2?

Yes (which I only found out today), but Customer Services can't do it

Who do I have to ask for this? I'm a IT Geek so can do it myself, done it twice before.

Also can I ask for a phone call on delivery as my apartment door buzzer does not work, which is been a constant thorn in my side since I moved here over a year ago and is beyond a joke.

Well SH2 gives me packet loss of around 60%
SH1 is zero.
