On the subject of football trivia questions I'll ask one.

When was the last time Celtic won an away game in a match for the Champions League or European Cup (Qualifying rounds don't count)

Not that I'm gloating or anything...

Think he is talking about the big Euro comp and it's fore runner, not the minor one ;)

Hmmm... Berbatov swapping shirts at half time, think he's trying to tell MJ something? ;)

dont understand that sacking Jol will make any difference to the Spurs, it was more the mentality of the players that got them in trouble.

okay we shall see what happens from next week onwards

can't remember who said it but I read a comment from one of the players who said "We are to blame not Jol" and that is correct.

They are the ones who aren't performing on the pitch yet they still get 40k or more a week.

I think Jol's quite a good manager really and the players have let him down

You could say that about most managers that get sacked though, most of the time it's the players not performing rather than the managers ability. I think it was time for Jol to go, when you have a falling out with your best player (Berbetov) it's always going to be tough because he's not going to want to play under you again and wont give 100%. I think recently some of his tactics in matches have been poor which doesn't help players with low confidence and was part of his downfall.

He's made mistakes, but I think the way he's been treated has been nothing short of appalling.

People are queuing up to slap Levy for smiling after Getafe's 2nd goal went in. He'd better watch himself. I'd be interested in seeing if any of the lad's mags lip readers pick up on it.
