We know what happened when the Sun said Boxnation would be on Virgin Media on September 30th.

Sky Arts 1, Sky Arts 2 (the SD versions) and Yesterday +1 have been added to the M+ tier.

I noticed the additions when I was messing about with the Set Favourite Channels menu last night and have confirmed the change on the Virgin Channel listing website where they are all now ticked in the M+ column. http://shop.virginmedia.com/digital-tv/channels.html

You are right Sky Arts SD Channels has now joined the M+ Pack.

Yesterday +1 has also launch on the M+ Pack due to Yesterday being on Freeview.

If PBS were to launch on November 1st on Virgin Media. A HD version is probably a couple of years away

Personally I don't see a second update in November.

As I've said in a separate post, the introduction of new features to TiVo planned for the second half of this year will not come all in a single update.

I just hope to set expectations because it seems that a rumour has been heavily perpetuated on this board that there is one all encompassing update to come. In actuality, there will be a large update, but other feature updates will follow very soon after this update (as their introduction had the update itself as a dependency).

So, what does the arrival of Sky Anytime on Virgin Media mean for us movie fans?

Add Sky Movies to your package

What is Virgin TV
Sign up to Virgin TV
The good news is that it is going to open the door to hundreds more movies fresh from the cinema that you can enjoy anytime of the day. The bad news is… er, well, there is no bad news.
Basically, if you are already a Virgin Media TV customer and you subscribe to the Sky Movies Collection, you can now access hundreds more movies from Sky Anytime at no extra cost.
If you aren't yet a Virgin Media TV customer then fear not, you can find more information and signing up for it here. If you don't have Sky Movies yet then this can be easily solved by clicking here.
So, what it means for you film fans is that, if you add the 500 movies now available through Sky Anytime to the hundreds of movies already available on FilmFlex and Picturebox, you have a pretty much unbeatable film feast that you can tuck into anytime you fancy.
Now go, you are wasting vital film watching time.

Spoke to three different operators, and then the boss.
Kept saying they had sent a signal through - put on hold for several minutes each time - nothing.

After what seemed like several hours, the "Boss" said he would send out an engineer !! Kept explaining that it just needed activation at their end, what an engineer was supposed to do I have no idea.

I like Virgin, Tivo etc. but CS have just added the final straw.
I'll take a deep breath wait 24 hours, and then it's a phone call to the dark side I'm afraid

Going to leave it till later & try again.

Come on mate, did you really think it would be instant. This is a catch-up and on demand service that will decrease and increase depending on what is up and running. It's been less than 24 hours and these things take time. Patience really is a virtue

24 hours - still no HD on second box.
Decided to give it one more shot...........
Spoke to a guy called Cameron - IN THE UK
checked and said yes I can do that for you now, it will take about 15 minutes!

15 minutes later, all there in glorious HD
Why oh why do we have to put up with overseas call centres, who don't have a clue about anything

This happened to me yesterday, needed some signals sent down to box as lost all HD channels, someone in the Indian call centre 'sent them' and I was waiting for a good 2 hours, called someone in the UK and they arrived in about 10 minutes

When ITV1 launched in HD - we had around 5 programmes a week.

Rather see 1 or 2 programmes a day than them not be available at all.
