Non vip users have had that pricing.

Where are you getting your pricing information from?

Previous posts so not from VM direct, but the pricing I posted is what is expected as far as I know.

Ditto.

I did enter when that web page went live, but I haven't even got the 'you're not worthy of winning' email yet.

No lottery ticket. No email. But I got a flyer leafet through the letterbox this week, telling me about VM's services, despite me being a customer already.

Its like I don't exist or something.

your luck i did not even get the flyer

Maybe pricing should be:

Pre reg VM customers: 149 all in (consistent with what people have been paying).

VM customers who didn't pre reg: 149 + 40 install

New customers: 199 + 40 install (already announced)

?

Yes, HDMI and scart are both active, so you can do it that way

..and at the same time I hope, so that the only single scart can be used to send RF via a distributor round the house, while watching in HDMI on the main TV.

Why would they charge less for a product that has a 50,000 waiting list just because you never got one of the free TiVo boxes, it will be a case of you want one then OK this is the price you need to pay.;)

It's called fairness, needed to maintain their reputation

VM should charge the same price to all pre-reg current customers. As the people who have currently got tivo (and didn't win one) paid 149 all in, that should be the price for all pre-reg VM customers.

If thats the case you have to remember loyalty works both ways.

You have to remember that only Virginmedia have TiVo.;)

So it is a question of do you want TiVo or do you not want TiVo.

Or you could call me and offer me TiVo, there's some money in it for you too.

As I indicated in my first post quite happy to pay and I know having experienced the series 1 how good TiVo is, I just would like the opportunity to give Virgin media some of my hard earned cash and enable employees such as yourself to access the internet, food and other essentials. ;)

I know that you have a S1 so wondered why you complained when you are one of the few who know what it is like to own one, especially as the support is finishing in a few months for the S1 as well.

The charged more for the original V+ than they are for the TiVo so it is very much a bargain considering what it is capable of doing.

Can i just say that the 50,000 seems a little strange as Square Eyes over on WWW.VMHD.BLOGSPOT.COM as they he/she says that the first batch of emails went out to 117,000 customers?

That was the original figure and I expect it to have well exceeded that by now, it will be interesting to see how many actually do sign up for TiVo.
