Hazards three match ban not sufficient according to the FA

Well its only my humble opinion but l think a three match ban is more then enough for Hazard.

Totally agree Den.

The fa obviously feel they want to make a statement to satisfy the rabid anti-Chelsea brigade.

No action to be taken against the cheating little toerag who lay on the ball.:td:

Shame on you Swansea and the fa.

With Newcastle making numerous signings in January, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger feels there should be a limit on the number of deals clubs can do in January.

He said: "I think it should be completely cut out or limited to two players because it is unfair for the league that some teams have played, for example, Newcastle already and then some teams have to face Newcastle still with six or eight new players. They do not face exactly the same team.

"I believe the number of players you can buy should be limited."
Actual figure is 4 signings with an expected signing of Moussa Sissoko shortly making it 5.

Naturally the window is still open for another 5 days but I can't see us signing another 3 players in that time.

WengerLogic gets better and better Adz. Ignore the senile fool. what about injuries then. ill comment on his full press conference in a bit. the man has truly lost it. not just him but death is set in. Ivan tried selling new Liverpool to us fans then got slapped when Liverpool chucked money for Sahin and to top it failed getting rid of him. Stan selling Utd, fail. Glazers got forced to invest. that investment helped them big time repaying the huge debt. look what Utd have and are doing. our wage spend isnt much less than Utds and as for budget for transfers.. that is not low. reported 30-40mil isnt true. Peter Hill-Woods a PR disaster.

Nile Ranger was brought in alongside Xisco and Gonzalez and all three signed and delivered by none other than Dennis Wise in some of the most bogus deals I've seen in football, most of his signings never played for the club and cost a ridiculous amount in wages and was later discovered he was doing a favour for his agent contacts.

Xisco has to be one of the worst signings for any club in history, he's on something like £50,000 a week for 5 years and it'd be lucky if he's played 5 games, at least Alan Smith played during the Championship season but this guy, jesus wept.

£7m signing plus ~£2m in wages, that's Michael Owen level of value.

I mean it's quite fashionable for the press to make Wenger look a 'senile old fool'. It's like the time when the press asked him for a fantasy rule change and he responded that they could change throw-ins to kicks-ins and the press had a field day with 'Wenger wants to ban throws-in'. Sunday Supplement got angry about it and said it was stupid, he was stupid and wanted to ruin the English game.

All this from a question that was meant to be met with a frivolous answer.

Now the Newcastle transfer story. The idea of restricting the January transfer window has been floated by several managers over the years. Wenger hasn't 'lost it' because he floats it as well. Ian Holloway mentioned it over Zaha, that Crystal Palace have had to deal with their star player being linked to a move away all season and see it happen in the middle of it. A lot of smaller clubs detest the window because of the instability it brings. Many have called for it's abolishment and either have transfers all year around or restrict in the way Wenger suggested to allow for emergencies.

You may not agree but spare us the feigned outrage at the guy giving his opinion to a question asked.

Wengers press conference..

Rosicky made big impact last season Feb onwards and Wenger hopes for the same this year. I guess thats Wengers 1 new signing. Ramseys position is playing from deep. hmmm.. yet he plays him as the extra man out of position. fool.

Schalke manager job, no. no contact. German leagues interesting but Prems better. Wenger voices his contract at Arsenal.

David Villa, nothing concrete, not on the case.
Hummels, no, cant imagen Dortmund selling defenders mid season, no approach.
Belhanda, no.

Not signing any French players.

Diame, Wenger said yes? then no approach.

not worried about getting 2 players in, more worried about injured players and getting players here to perform to full potential. hes still failing though. sqaure pegs round holes.

if we perform at full potential we dont expect mircles from outside. rather make things happen inside. if theres qaulity outside to strengthen then Wenger will do it blah blah blah.. ye ok. we have resources inside to do well. YES Wenger you do yet its going untouched or wasted!!!!?!?!?!?!!!

we have 2 players in every position. that should be enough. if theres qaulity outside to strengthen we'll do it. same ol'd... bore fest.

Heres big news!!! Its not Wengers choice on new manager :woot: lets hope the board dont cock it up... Klopp please.

Thierry Henry :D started scoring at 23. Theo is now 23. Not unfair to compare, Theo should follow the example set by Henry. :tu:

Wenger asked if the FA Cup is still important to him ouch! Yes is the answer. needed 2 ties to progress last round lets be realistic. oh my i thought he was going on about qaulity in the squad. no he says squad is interesting. yes it is yet hes not getting the most out of it as a whole.

January market, as posted by Adz above. the guys clearly hellbent trying to prove his own vision away from the market..

on Pardews old French player quote. Newcastle made good buys, Newcastle have done very well. asked about nationality Wenger says qaulity is important not where player comes from. English core is better because its easier to keep together. may be Wenger, may be not. Qaulity want qaulity around them thats not only players but manager methods to suit! or they will be off too.

Wengers not worried if January goes by with no buys. more worried about what goes on on the pitch.. by our current squad.

buying players not the answer. ah please Wenger get a grip!

more to come from Giroud. compares Giroud to Alan Smith.

heres the press conference http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nALbm...e_gdata_player

the mans nuts. empty seats at the stadium and away. 4th or above i hope but fans will still be ****ed.

Arsenal are not a small club or a club struggling or would be if star players were brought off us. we have a stature able to attract top players. spare us your silly comparisons.

bigger statured clubs shouldnt worry about the January market. if a squad is seen insufficient then buy. if its fine then carry on. dont moan.
