Another one of those weird and pointless rebrands.

It seems a bit disjointed, leaving out Alibi, Gold & Eden. The U& "you and" names are probably going to get tiresome after a while.

The channels only on Sky and Virgin will be rebrand by 2025.

That's assuming that the rebrand lasts that long. UKTV has a track record of quietly dropping some of their rebrands.

I doubt anyone will use the U& when talking about the channels.

UKTV will on the relevant channels, the public will do what they always do and carry on using the old, familiar, names. That's until UKTV get bored of the names, as they did with UK Gold, UKTV Gold, "Go on laugh daily" G.O.L.D etc.

Well some of them have stupid names anyway, so no change there.

I've logged into my account and found Sky Sports UHD for £3.50 a month for 18 months. Does anyone know where to find the terms and conditions on the offer, if you can cancel at any time and when the offer finishes? I had a look last night, but couldn't see anything.

As if the new names weren't stupid enough, there's also some weird inconsistencies that make them look even worse. Why is it U&DRAMA (all caps) but U&Dave for example.

It's put me in a new 18 month contract, which is naughty considering I can't find any terms and conditions for the offer.

Are you sure that it has? Last time I made a change they created a new contract document that at first glance looked like it had but the remaining term was the same.

Not that I’d expect Virgin are above re-contracting people making minor changes without telling them!

Yeah, minimum contract length, 18 months. I'm on a 30 day rolling contract at the minute.
