You might dislike the Tories; you do love the EU. But do you really want illegal migrants of the type I've described to come here from several safe countries on their route to Calais?

If so, you can't be sane. Sunak is following the right policy.

Just more hand wringing I'm afraid.

Mrs G has just said to me, if you were sending an ISIS trained terrorist to the UK would you risk putting them on a boat where they're likely to get caught or find a better way of getting them here or better still use someone home grown?

They get a free ride to a 4 star hotel So please tell Mrs. G that they are potentially here. At a hotel near you.

You’ve been reading to many cheap thrillers.

Why take the risk of the asset drowning crossing the channel/security breach involved in getting the people smugglers involved, when they can just get a plane ticket and get here as tourists?

You’re letting fear overpower rationality…

I'd have thought it was rather obvious. Terrorists known to the security services would be arrested on arrival. No documents, they are just poor (fit young) refugees falling on the UK's generosity.

A single person can blow up a bus, stab multiple people in the middle of London, or even bomb an arena, as the past sadly tells us.

That maybe although it is more likely they already live here. This is just click bait for the gullible. No evidence, just right wing tropes.

I think I'm sane but you never can be certain :D As I mentioned, put up your evidence and this can become a rational discussion.

Only obvious if MI6/MI5 have a list of every ISIS/Daesh member, which is extremely unlikely - you’re trying to make the facts fit your scenario, rather than envisaging scenarios from known facts…

What’s your obsession with "fit young"? - terrorists, unfortunately, can be any age/sex/ethnicity/body shape… :(

So if you're correct and all the young and fit crazies throwing their documents away mid channel are only coming here to destroy our way of life, why then bearing in mind how many have arrived haven't we suffered almost daily terrorist attacks?

They've probably been busy delivering his Daily Torygraph, or doing his online shopping. The jobs no one else can be arsed to do.

How would I know. But you do know who has committed the terrorist attacks of recent years? And they were the documented ones.

The point is, we should not be admitting people who throw away their documents because we don't know who they are.

Are you saying that the terror attacks of recent years have been carried out by documented refugees/asylum seekers?

(And by recent, do you mean 5, 10, or 20 years?).

You know exactly what I'm saying and I need not be any more specific. Who do you think has carried out those atrocities?
