It was predictable really. Irish the game of their lives, us still dizzy from the WC, and concentrating on the Ashes. Still think we'll win though, but its made the game interesting !

Given the fragility of England's and Australia's batting line ups and the strengths of their bowling attacks the test matches could be over in 3 days.

It was a very poor pitch. If they dish up the same for the Ashes I fear for our batting line up if Ireland can bowl us out for 85.

Some of these pitches in England this summer would not be suitable for a pub match to be played on.
