It may cause an issue for anyone without a floppy drive on the trial!

Might look an eyesore, but I bet it works better than the SH1. Can't wait for mine to come now. ;)

Somehow a device that actually contains no intentionally designed antennas actually produces a better wireless signal than the Superhub 1 :)

A piece of tin foil would produce a better wireless signal than the SH1!.

Quite a few countries call that a Stiffy, only the older 8 or 5.25" disks are called floppies

I'm from a country where a "Stiffy" means something quite different!

The 5¼" is definitely a "floppy". Lol double lol.

What is the meaning of a "Stiffy" from the country that you are from? ;)

Nothing being said is NDA really, it goes like this every trial, no specs been posted or pics of our new kit. At least that is my view anyway and I have been in all the SH trials. :)

All the important main chat floods the trial forums.

I don't think you understand the rules of the trial, even if you have been on one before. Posting 'experiential' info like timings and setup is also prohibited. In fact any knowledge that is gained via the trial.

Why are you all discussing something that's under NDA?

Which manufacturers are being used in which regions (apart from the UK) is already in the public domain and not covered by NDA.

VM Ireland has publicly stated on their forum they're trialling Compal.
UPC Poland is also using Compal.
And I know some others too..

Because that would be a terrible idea from Virgin. You don't do a widespread trial of different hardware, you do that part in a lab and when you're happy, you do a wider trial to ensure it works in the field and the software is correct.

Who implied VM (UK) are publicly trialling different hardware? Not me. I think someone got confused along the line there.

Maybe those of us that they've forgotten about will eventually get to trial a super powerful Cisco built device.

I sigh sometimes, especially with VM customers.

Not only are they content with "willy waving" but occaisonally they do the same with a "stiiffy!", THEN you have to explain it to another VM customer!

I hope Ken understands now.

Is suicide still an option?

Having been on several VM trials in the past and, since then, several BT ones, I have not seen anything in this thread that would breach the NDA that the testers have agreed to.

If you think otherwise then this is not the place to post your opinion, if you are unable to post in the correct place (VM's)trial forum) then you are not in a position to comment IMHO.
