We usually get our post before 9am (usually 8-8:30). However when we have a relief postman its a fair bit later.

There used to be three deliveries each day at one time.

To be fair now that post is rarely used one delivery a day should suffice.

Indeed most days I get more bumf than real post.

Moan: I've (supposedly) got a VM HD box coming for self install today. Website order section says that I'll be given a Yodel :( tracking number when the order is due. No number yet. At least it's not like I have to take a day off work for them not to turn up as I work from home but it's still annoying.

I've stopped getting bumf since I registered with the Royal Mail to stop it. The fun is that to do that you have to print out a PDF form, fill it in and then post it to them (no online or telephone option) and if you want it in Welsh you have to specifically email them.

Still, there's less crap coming through Rhyds towers letterbox so it looks like its doing its thing

I did that ages ago and it stopped for years but it's started up again. Guess I have to renew it.

IIRC it says on the form somthing like: You won't get important government stuff. I changed that clause to government propoganda. :D

IIRC you can't opt out of election material, and for some reason I still got the council's "newspaper" (now that is a waste of money and chip paper)

Good Morning den, hope your having better weather today :)

It's a dull morning with slight drizzle here today in (South Lanarkshire) Scotland :(

---------- Post added at 06:10 ---------- Previous post was at 05:53 ----------

Being up most of the night with pains in my stomach that you wouldn't believe and pain killers seem useless.

Well after yesterdays big storms its quiet thus this morning but sadly wet and windy weather is heading our way this afternoon.

Well obviously with no experience of diagnosing do you think its something to do with what you eat or going by your previous posts do you suffer from IBS?.

Don't know den but I have been referred to a gastroenterologist but need to get the MRI scan done first. Don't think it's IBS though as I'm being sick quite a lot and have unexplained weight loss, just wish I could get back to work. To begin with my doctor was treating me for anxiety, never really believed that was the cause as the tummy cramps are unbelievable.

Hot water bottles as hot as you can take it is probably the best thing for stomach cramps / pain. Don't bother with painkillers they won't touch it.
