Still don't know how they have enough programming to fill Quest, DMAX, Travel & Living, Home & Health plus TLC.

Though it does out through HDMI from a laptop, and to be honest the picture I watch through it for the football isn't that bad at all.

But then I don't have to pay for it, which is a plus point :)

And thanks for explaining that ocav :)

Don't forget that Real Time is going. Some of the programmes on that channel will probably get screened on TLC.

Well, they are prepared to pay! Just not a ludicrous price.

You don't normally have to utilise a barter system to get the service you want. Adding VM viewers would help to make the channel viable through increased subscription money and advertising.

I have said it before, as they are hogging the content as exclusive to the channel, they should make the channel freely available at a wholesale price.

Sky might think that the channel attracts subscribers because SA is a unique selling point, but they have not taken into account the number of people who are totally turned off by their attitude and practices and would not touch Sky with a barge pole if they can help it.

A more civilised approach to business might well win them more customers.

To answer two questions.1) IF VM offered a package of channels including BT Sports, Premier Sports channel along with say Atlantic and a couple more than l would not mind paying an extra couple of quid, as if you think you will get THREE channels with BT.

2) VM were offered Atlantic, BUT they wouldn't Sky's price, and yet they have got some crap channels such as Africa Channel etc.

Its US the customer at the end of the day that will end up paying for these channels, and l think personally that VM know that members on here won't pay any extra - so thats it. I have a saying - you can't get anything for nothing.
