Re: Weather

The weather has been a bit cooler for me today and the house feels alot better, likely because I've been able to open the windows and get a blow going through the house. Last night I think was the worst night ever here.

More of the same forecast for next week when I'm back at work, atleast I'll be in a clean room with Aircon.

Today was a decent. Nice breeze. Fan Infront of the open window worked a treat.

Thunder woke me up last night.

Alot warmer for me today and it's only getting worse.

Shut all the house curtains while I'm working a late shift, it feels like 33c outside, luckily I'm in an aircondioned building until 10pm.

Definitely been a scorcher today . . and we had those sodding thunder flies too, which made opening the windows a bit of a 'rock and a hard place' choice . . although the little sods get in anyway

back when i worked for post office telephones we had yellow vans, they would get covered in bugs whenever you parked in the countryside on a summers day,and when i say covered i'm not exaggerating you couldn't see the yellow

The amount of central heating companies who are now working installing Air con has increased so much lately.

22c feels like 25c and 69% humidity at 09:16 in Boro

Dogs out at 5am to get them walked whilst it was cool and now they’re complaining as they want to be in the garden sunbathing and charging around like idiots

Which will accelerate climate change further.

I'm afraid we ignored the warnings and are past the tipping point where we can do much about it. What a selfish generation we are.

34c outside with no breeze for me at the moment and 29c inside. I'm definitely not keen on this heat but I know people at work from places like Romania that doesn't think anything is wrong and love it!

I'm wondering if it's worth planting a few Orange trees and hoping for mild winters :D

Very pleasant 25C here on the coast with a nice sea breeze. My banana palms are loving the heat.

10:30am Already 27C here in South Manchester. Our conservatory is a no go zone at 40C and the cacti are thriving.

Goodness knows how hot it will be in there when the temperature outside reaches 34C this afternoon.
