Button was almost flawless. One or two little mistakes, out of line and that, but other than that it was perfect. Shame for Vettel, I like him. He made the mistake and couldn't minimise the damage.

Lotus are interested in a return to F1...that's an old name.

The Lotus name has been bought by the litespeed team and hopefully will get the nod to run next season.

I think one thing I have noticed this season is that the new rules for this year still haven't helped with overtaking. We saw it at the last race and this one that if you are faster than the car infront then you still can't overtake.

i think the only solution is to make it so the cars rely more on mechanical grip than aero grip, make the aero grip less then 50% of the car and then you might see a change.

Interesting news about KERS although not sure what the FIA will make of that. KERS is Max's baby and I can't see him agreeing to drop it

The new rules have "improved" matters although they would never have solved all the problems with following another car. As you say though more needs to happen to put more emphasise on mechanical grip.

KERS, implemented well is a potent and big advantage, unfortunately we have only seen it on cars which are underperforming at the moment and would be without it. This I fear is going to resign it to the bin as underperformance and KERS is now linked.

I would really love to see it implemented on a front running car to highlight its actual effectiveness, I doubt this will now happen however.

i think part of the problem with KERS is that it is limited to 6.5 seconds a lap and an extra 80 bhp so once the teams have that, apart from making it smaller and lighter there isn't much more they can do with it. If it was unlimited then it would be up to the teams to get back as much energy as they could and then it might be developed more

Current headline only is

Quote:

All 10 F1 teams included on 2010 entry list - five of them provisionally
Which doesn;t tell us anything really :(

Ahh, more

All 10 current Formula 1 teams have been included on the list of entrants for the 2010 season, though five of those are on a 'conditional basis'.

The sport's governing body has been at loggerheads with the teams' umbrella group Fota over a proposed budget cap and other plans for the sport's future.

And McLaren, Renault, Toyota, BMW Sauber and Brawn GP have been given a week to submit an unconditional entry.

Campos Grand Prix, Manor and US F1 have been accepted as new teams next season.
So no Lola or prodrive
