My hubbys brother & wife had their 1st baby this morning at 1:20, just over 4 weeks early so he is only 4lb 13oz but hasn't had to go to the special care unit and is amazingly cute! A new wee cousin for my 2 boys, sooooooooo happy for them.

That's great. :D

My youngest was 4lb 6oz and had to spend a couple of nights in SCBU as his temperature was low.

This is sad, but..

After several years of trying, they finally moved my work email account to exchange. I resisted because, frankly, Outlook on the PC is a bloated pile of crap, and Entourage on OSX (which I have to use), is worse. So, I resisted.

Now, however, they have moved me over and I am loving it. Mac Mail handles Exchange pretty well (certainally better than Entourage), and I have a couple of bonuses.

1) Server side mail filtering. I get emails from a lot of mailing lists (as part of my job), so I have quite a few filters to sort those into different folders. With server side filtering, I set the filters up once rather than on every client.

2) If I need to set an out-of-office message, I can do so using a wizard rather than a fiddly sequence of commands, or asking a colleague.

3) The best one: The Exchange server is not accessible outside the Uni, so even if I wanted to, I can't use my mail client at home to check my work mail. I can use webmail, but prefer not to.

Mostly Texas Traditional country music & rockabilly. Everyone was so kind. One band member picked us up from the hotel & took us out of town where they were playig at a dance & took us back to the hotel afterward, It was magic We met friends that we knew from the last time & we all enjoyed nights out together. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Are they using OWA for the webmail? If so you can usally use RPC over HTTP to access the server from the mail client when outside the internal network. I don't know what clients other than outlook support this, if any.

I'm seriously thinking of getting the Desire s for £15 a month contract but would rather get it sim free but it is so expensive still.

Just got back from cycling the CTC (sea to sea) cycle tour. 140 miles from Whitehaven to Tynemouth through the Lake District and over the Pennines. Did it in four days, which I think was pretty good considering we were on hybrids and carrying our luggage in panniers.

Managed to do my knee in on a steep climb on day 1, so day 2 was uncomfortable, day 3 involved lots of pushing my bike uphill, and day 4 (the easiest supposedly), sheer agony trying to power through the pins and needles in the knee. Wifey was smarter in doing more walking on day 1 and raced past me on day 3 and 4.

Made it though. Need to start thinking about the next challenge :)

Nice one mate! Did you buy from buymobilephones.net like you said you would for £15.21 a month? as i've kinda chickened out getting it from them, plus i can possibly get £80.80 cash back from T Mobile using topcashback.

You made the right choice. I went with the Desire S after following the advise of some of the guys on here and don't regret it one bit.

It is a little more battery heavy than my old nokia but even with wifi on constant, syncing every 15 mins during the day, 30 mins @ night and a fair bit of internet, email and game playing (Angry Birds) as well as actually making calls on it lol and I still get 2 days plus between charges. Its very responsive and the amount of free apps available is mind boggling.

Have Fun

A well-known Search Engine provider has just kindly given me a Motorola Xoom - I will hug it and squeeze it and love it and pet it, and I will call it George.

Ooooh - shiny! :D

Ok, I'll ask.

why would Google give you a Motorola Xoom?

I know it's not because you're special.

The time will go really fast until you go, the only problem is then that the holiday passes just as quickly. Still a break away is always a welcome treat. :)
