We had a light powdering that melted after an hour. There's still some on the cars and house roofs.

Same here. After 3 inches of snow yesterday we are back to just frost.

Just put our dustbins out for collection tomorrow morning and had to prise them open tp break the frost layer that had sealed them to add some rubbish.

Temp is currently -5° and heading down to -6° until 7am tomorrow. at which point it is due to rise to a barmy -3° by midday tomorrow.

Wow, its now -9.0C here :shocked: - the coldest I can remember for a few years.

That still seems a bit warmer compared to what it was here last night mate. (Not much though)

A friend that recently moved to Canada sent me some photos yesterday. Over 3ft deep snow drifts over night. Looked insane.

We ended up with 3 inches of the white stuff.
Partially melted during the day, but whats left is freezing now (-2.8C here atm).

Thank goodness ya only got 3 inches!!

We had a light dusting overnight on Monday, but the roads stayed clear and it has now all melted away.

Gave us an excuse to put the gas fire on for the first time since March.

Are you kidding Dude? We pray for snowfall. Britain stops , there are national headlines if there is one flake. If it falls in the SE, a national emergency is declared. We love it.

It's sprinkling down here. Heating is all sorted and working but if it stays maybe an excuse to light the fire.

It's been threatening snow for the last week, but all we got was -1 ->-2°C. We had 10mins of sleet this afternoon. Due to freeze again tonight and stay at -1 most of tomorrow.
With rain due as well as more freezing overnight I'm just happy that ...........on side note. Our central heating boiler stopped working last Friday night -2°C. When our central heating guy checked what was going on he found that the heat exchanger had developed a pin hole leak. He phoned the Ideal Boiler people as the 5 year old boiler still has 5 years warranty left and, because I'am at hospital most days, the firm sent out an engineer who came yesterday evening and ...... we have heat and hot water again!!!!

Just been watching the chap next door struggling to get his car up the road - he normally parks his car at the bottom of the hill and walks up. I'm going out to have a drive drive past his house, might even stop outside and set off again. He's a numpty and no-one on the road likes him. I hope he remembers saying people with 4 wheel drive are pretentious pricks - maybe I am but it means a few inches of snow won't stop me.

Not snow, but severe black ice on main roads that weren't gritted near me caused a major accident yesterday and another this morning.

We are supposed to get a big mess sometime tonight or tommorow... Tommorow its supposed to be near 10 so I know it wont be snow luckily!
