True but all to play for and we can score for once too. 1 goal and then they gotta get 2 to draw and 3 to go through etc.... so ALL to play for :D

Chelsea at this moment are 4-2 up, it looks omminous for Chelsea to go all the way i really think that money can buy success, this must be very damaging for the game in the long run, not sour grapes by any means, i've long followed Chelsea, Rangers and i'm a Man Utd supporter.

Thanks for the sentiments but last night, in a crucial 6-pter, we had our first decent chance in the 87th minute [taylor hitting the crossbar] and were outplayed by ****ing coventry, but for Gerrard it could have been 5 or 6.

The goals were utterly shambolic and all the players were doing was hoofing it back to coventry.

We're going down.

My local (as in a club close to you Man U fans) and Favourite club Falkirk FC plays Ross county at the weekend with one point needed to secure promotion to the SPL.

We have also just completed a new stand and we are all hoping that it will be open for the game on Saturday for the first time. Having been to nearly every game this season (home and away) this is the highlight of the footy season so far for me and i cant wait.

You mean like Chelsea did when the same defender who was involved last night, Carvalho fouled the Barcelona keeper in the last round, allowing Terry to score the winner. What goes around, comes around. ;)

Just think about poor old Marge. She's not going to be a happy camper tonight.

Losing is bad enough, but a score like the a bottom table side must be a bugger.

Still, we're playing the Geordies tomorrow. And if we have another travesty like the FA cup match, I really will come up there and burn the sodding place to the ground.

He just has this thing about playing the lower teams where he gets cocky and puts in 4 or 5 reserves. It throws the balance of the team out. :banghead:

Shocking result and a shocking performance and whoever was supposed to have been marking the chap that scored the second goal needs a good shoeing :fit: Norwich City deserved the win and good luck to them for the rest of the season, we need people like Delia to keep us entertained in the Premiership cos my boys aren't doing that at the moment  they couldn't beat a one legged man in an arse kicking competition :knock:

Hehe, I know that. Utter shambles from start to finish.

The players aren't fit to wear the shirt, the manager's not fit to manage them, and the chairman can f off as well.

very poor team to field started with only about 8 players and no midfield which has been the problem all season.. their keeper didn't have to make one save..

with a midfield of Fortune, Scholes, Phil Neville and Kleberson we only had one midfielder, Scholes.. The others aren't even good enough to be an United and with Scholes having another off day this season it's no wonder we lost

There was a lot of trouble in Italy at the weekend as well.

Lazio got a â‚ ¬25,445 fine and an official warning for racist chants

Ternana got a â‚ ¬29,935 fine after missiles were thrown at opposing fans and police.

There was also trouble at games in Rome, Palermo, Udine, Cava dei Tirreni and Perugia. Italys interior minister said stadiums could be shut down if violence continues

Steve H 12-04-2005 23:40

Yeah, shocking scenes from the San Siro... was warned by a mate to expect this - Italian fans have been doing it for years - however, they seem to confine this hooliganism to their own country, they don't tend to bring it abroad - which is why I think the English recieve so much criticism.

Worried for the scousers tommorow, I know they'r a rough bunch but my mate says it's highly likely there will be a massacre as revenge :(

Good on ya Jim :tu:

Send him down the A6/A610 then. We'd love him here if you don't want him.

What do you do when they play against each other? Cut yourself in half and sit each half in each stand?

On the very few times Man Utd have played Swansea, I sit in the North Bank (Swansea's main stand) with my United top on :D

Yes. It's a bit messy for the people sitting next to you, but it keeps the suture industry going ;) :D

Edit:
It's like my mum's team is Sunderland, so I have follow their results. When they play each other, it's utd of course :)

See no reason to dispute that. We're sh*t and we know we are.

Take it you mean the team just across the Trent... not a chance, they're going down at the same rate as we are...

Inter to sue Fan......

Quote:

Inter are seeking damages from a fan arrested by Italian police after the abandonment of their Champions League quarter-final with Milan.

The Inter fan, who Italian police have identified as Michele P, faces charges relating to the throwing of flares and other missiles on to the pitch during Tuesday's second leg.

With Inter facing a heavy fine and a ban from playing home games at their San Siro stadium, the club are eager to be seem to be doing something.

Public prosecutor Fabio Roia told the Italian news agency ANSA that Inter had made a formal written claim for damages.

†œI consider this a very important signal. It means that the club is distancing itself from its fans," said Roia. http://www.worldsoccer.com/news/inte...ews_63191.html

although i don't agree with what the Inter fans did what was worrying was when Dida got hit he started to fall down, really slowly, going one way and then turned over in mid air to fall the other way.. Basically he was play acting after being hit by a flare.. that isn't relly on either..

not sure how they managed to bring all them flares into the ground in the first place

Perhaps he thought he was being tackled :D

Seriously though, I don't think the way he went down is an issue at all - the fact is he was hit by an object thrown by a fan and that is never ever justified or defensible. He could have stayed standing or done a double barrel roll - totally irrelevant IMO and not something which really needs to be discussed.

Four game home ban and a fine for Inter.

Don't have a link as I got it in an email.

Quote:

AS THE FIVER WENT TO PRESS...
Internazionale have been forced to play their next four home games in
Europe behind closed doors and fined over GBP132,000 following crowd
trouble during their Big Cup quarter-final with AC Milan on Tuesday.
The second leg had to be abandoned after Inter fans threw flares onto
the San Siro pitch, one of which struck AC Milan goalkeeper Dida on
the shoulder. In total, the ban on fans at the San Siro is for six
matches but two of those have been suspended for three years. Uefa
confirmed AC Milan will go through to the semi-finals to face PSV
Eindhoven. The Rossoneri were leading the tie 3-0 on aggregate when
referee Markus Merk stopped play.

And he means to say he's never tapped up anyone, when there's absolutely no evidence to suggest Chelsea did. Kenyon's story is perfectly plausible, though it does seem a tad coincidental.

Here is another wee teaser. Why are Milan know as Milan and not Milano (the Italian spelling)?

Given Chelsea's recent antics I'd hesitate at calling his story 'plausible'.
