Still clicking my heels over the 4 week wait before I can get back behind the wheel!

:erm: Not one of the ways to avoid the roads over a Bank Holiday weekend I would have chosen either to be honest and, although the next 4 weeks may feel like a lot longer, at least you will get back behind the wheel a lot healthier than the last time you drove. So I guess that has to be the silver lining.

Take care of yourself rb.

At least I had a better experience than another local resident.
He had the out of body experience of being clinically dead for 30minutes whilst he was being worked on by experienced worker with defib machine until the air ambulance arrived!

Hope it all goes well for you.

:tu:

We had a scare with Osem Jnr # 2 which resulted in 3 hours in A&E and a close shave with a drug he's not supposed to be given. Thankfully I picked up the drug error before it was administered and A&E wasn't as busy as it could have been so it all worked out OK in the end. My God it was stressful though because he just doesn't understand what's going on and gets so agitated. :(

People who simply can't be bothered to crush their recycled boxes, plastic bottles etc. and therefore leave their recycling bins overflowing and making an entirely unnecessary mess.

Clothesaid and others engaged in a similar activity.

3 freaking bags a week stuffed in my letterbox even though there is a sign asking that they don't.

And they tramp across my garden rather than use the path.

Illiterate imbeciles.

Chances are they can't read English. Try signs in Romanian, Hungarian, Lithuanian....

A house near us regularly put out 10 or more green bags, despite being a very small family. One letter and a visit from a council bod and now it's just 2 bags....

I really do wish my nephew would take some responsibility for his actions and maybe grow up a little after all he is 28 years old and my youngest who is only 15 is far more mature than him.

Yesterday while over at my Mother in Laws he was saying that he took his latest dog to the police station his reason was the dog was biting and I just don't believe him as he has had 3 dogs over the last 6 years two of which he took to the local cat and dog home. My nephew went on to say that his friends dog is expecting pups and I just thought now the truth comes out wait for it yip that's right my suspicion confirmed as he plans to get one of the pups, he looked gob smacked when I said I think he is totally unreasonable and if I had my way he would be banned from ever owning any animal as I have had two dogs in my 28 years of marriage one who lived to the grand old age of 16 and the current one who is approximately 13/14 as we do not his actual age as we got him from our local cat and dog home.

I can only hope and pray that the dogs he hands over finds a good home in where they can live the rest of there day's. I went on to tell him just how disgusted I am at his attitude towards what would be very good pets given the right owner and more than likely the problem is not with the dogs he gets but it's actually with him. The room went silent then he left after about 5 minutes and tbh I really do not care as I feel this was needed to be said as imo he does need to take responsibility of any living creature he brings into his life.

Why he wants a dog I do not know as he works as a delivery driver so the dog will be left for up to 10 hours a day and I just do not think that is right in fact I think it's both cruel and selfish on his part.

Pacemaker refit postponed as they are having issues getting a new one of my type. OK as there are still some months left on the current battery.

When things go wrong they go wrong, first of all I burn the mince for dinner which went straight in the bin as it was beyond saving, then when I decided to make macaroni for dinner I couldn't as I did not have any flour to make the sauce, so now I need to go out and buy something for dinner and here was me thinking my day was going to plan.

Just a very trivial moan but still so very annoying.

Getting so tired of one manager constantly splitting his crew for M&S jobs into 2, which means depending on which crew you get split into you earn more or less than the others. Take for instance this coming Sunday. There are 7 going in the first van, which means that they will all earn more than the 6 of us going in the second van, which really annoys me as they either take a smaller crew for the whole job, or everyone goes at the same time and earns the same, or those in the second van get paid for what the first van does as well. This particular manager is THE only one who does this. Not sure if this is something I can be bothered raising with management above him, as they don't seem to care about the workers any more.

It's now getting to the stage where I don't want to go to work, I used to love going to work but now I just want to stay at home and play on the xBox.

My moan is my sister and Dad once again. My Dad is 80 tomorrow and today while shopping he asked me if I was coming over tomorrow with hubby and the boy's and I said yes once hubby comes in from work to which he replied I'm going out with yip you have guessed it my sis and brother in law to say my kids are gutted is a understatement.

Well congratulations Dad & sis you now have left me to once again answer some very awkward questions from a young man who is only 15 but don't worry I will continue to make excuses and take the blame once again as I'm getting really good at telling my youngest son fibs as I do not want nor wish him to realise what a nasty pair of human beings you really are.

So here I'm sitting racking my brain how to tell him that he will not see his Papa on his 80th Birthday when he comes home from his RAF cadets, hubby thinks I should just be truthful as does my eldest, but as a Mother I simply refuse to hurt my child because of your selfish actions!

It has only been two months since my Mum passed and I cannot believe that I have been pushed out off celebrating my Dad's 80th now how do you explain that one to a 15 year old

My eldest has just informed me since his Dad his away to pick up our youngest that he is done with them well and truly and this also saddens me but I understand his reasons. What is upsetting me the most is my Mum would have never allowed her Grandsons nor myself to be shunned this way.

I was so angry today that I just put away the tins and heavy items away for him and left him to put the fridge items away I usually put all his shopping away but honestly I could not get out his house fast enough as I was just so angry and upset and the only one I wanted to speak to was my hubby. I cannot possibly post what his reply was when I told him.
