Can't believe the change in mood on this forum. One update and suddenly everyone's full of the joys of spring and not moaning!

Wonder how long it will last?

Dont know how people can moan tivo is not officially out yet,So taking a product of this spec is bound to have problems. If you want early its something you have to put up with,I have been impressed/happy with the product from day one and the bugs are not major and now with the 3rd tuner active(and in march as promised) tivo is looking more awsome than ever.

How olds the TV?

Warranty or no warranty a TV should last a "reasonable amount of time", if it's not that old then you should be able to get them to repair it or refund based on the amount of time it lasted. Just quote the sale of goods act to them and get complaining.

Sale of Goods Act 1979. Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982. Sale and Supply of Goods Act 1994. The Sale and Supply of Goods to Consumers Regulations 2002.

Can someone post the link for the Virgin TiVo Forum (the invite only one). It's been posted before but the thought of trawling through all the threads to find it, daunting!
Cheers, Karl.

If you have a TIVO you will need to ask for access here:

No it is not as I have a old CRT TV where the TIVO was first plugged in to and then swapped the V+ and the TIVO over;)

I have noticed on the main home screen if you press the slow button on the remote it removes the tv screen in the top right corner,Then when you go and watch a pre recorded show when you press stop it actually does rather than continue playing in top right corner. If you press the slow button again it brings back up the screen

Now if this was a PS3 update you could start the rumor that the update has caused a hardware failure:D

Tell you what, I'll swap my V+ for your TIVO and make sure the Tivo HDMI output is still OK:D:D:D:D:D:D

Still Tivoless:(

Not long! Most of the members on here have been treated very badly by VM and still do not know when they will have an opportunity to order a TiVo.

I think a lot of forum members have just got bored and have stopped posting.:o:

VM could have communicated much better, but no one has been treated badly; it's ridiculous to suggest that in my opinion.
