You should not have to do that as they should have to give it to you without any hassle for your self..

People who stir trouble, suffice it to say the last 48 hours has been full of arguments with 2 people at work.

Some people Mark tend to love drama sadly, what I tend to do is ignore trouble makers 9 times out of 10 they soon move on to someone who is willing to play there game the game I call tit for tat.

I personally think in cases like this it is far better to watch the show than be in it!

So tomorrow, I was scheduled to go literally 15 minutes down the road to count, and then it disappears from my schedule. I query it, and now I am expected to go to Worthing, 111 miles away, to help another office AND train some new starters too while counting. So not impressed with this.

Do you get paid for travel time?

It's good that they look to you when people need training, and it's also good on your CV.

Only paid for travel over 100 miles, and then it's only 8p a mile, so 88p there and 88p back. I just would rather be doing the job just down the road.

That's disgusting - you will be travelling for around 4 hours unpaid, and then losing money on the travel.

Tell me about it. Still, by the time we get down there they should have the back of store done, and all we have to do is assist with the shop floor which is over 2 levels. I did it in February, we got to the store at 15:27 and didn't leave until 01:47.

Mark do you not have a union who could negotiate better terms and conditions and if not you and your co workers could always join a Union.

Sadly, we don't. And been told that because we are all on zero hour contracts they don't owe us anything. Never mind the fact that when I joined I was promised a minimum of 16 hours a week.

Mark have you thought about shop work Sainsburys, Asda etc where you would more than likely be offered anything between a 8-20 hour contract and remember you would more than likely be offered overtime plus working in supermarkets at least you would have holiday pay etc.
