The shocking statistic of 25% of British Muslims having terrorist sympathies, makes me wonder if the figure is actually higher, I wonder if any were to ashamed to admit that they were sympathetic to people who blow up young and old alike. In fact imo the statistics are made worse by the deafening silence of the other 75% of Muslims, I know for a fact I would not tolerate these things happening without speaking out and as I said earlier, some will say 'it's not up to Muslims to speak out', well fine then, who is it up to, I am sure that the BNP would only be to happy to give a view on their behalf |

I think I'm invisible...again.

Re: Muslims to march in London
The main problem is, people who complain about another race are either
1. Ignorant of the facts of said race 2. Believe the hype and propoganda of said race. With some people here who just spout out the same usual racist comments, without even knowing anything about who they are racist about. They have been given facts about things, but yet their mind is clouded they still think the same way. Again locky has perceived all eastern peoples as terrorists and money grabbers, but yet earlier in the thread when I perceived English people as lager louts and hooligans, somehow I was wrong. This is the typical view that the White man is superior to all. They really need to learn history and politics. |

Good point, however, are the extremists who want to blow up trains and buses not ignorant of the facts of said race? believe the hype and propaganda of said race? Life is not always a one way street.;) |

Every nation has their blackspots of bad people, but what im saying is there is no point saying everyone of that race is the same as the extremists. |

Given the support in Ireland for Sinn Fein, and Irish celebrities such as Sinead agreeing with the bombing of British children, the support for the IRA appeared much greater than 25%. I'm also sure that on many occasions when peace was being sought with the IRA, goverment officials were met with "Eire law in Ulster" Comparing the two, there was more evidence for Irish support of the IRA bombing the UK than muslim support of islamic extremists bombing the UK. |

How can you possibly compare the two? The IRA have been trying to win a free Ireland for 100 years. They mainly targeted British forces & military establishments. The last "active" campaign continued for 30 years. They had no gripe against the USA, in fact the US assisted them in many ways, especially money. The Muslim threat hasnt been relevant for anything like that long. Their gripe is against anyone, especially the west, the USA & UK. There hasnt been enough time to make a "British" comparison yet. However, if you compare the damage the "Al-Quaeda" network has done compared to the IRA damage, worldwide, then there is no comparison. Bin lid wins hands down. |

Yes. I remember. I joined the Army in 1970. I was directly present at 2 incidents. The memories never left me. I lost friends in Guildford. "There but for the grace of god, go I". Its a saying I`ve used ever since. Also, in 1976, a place & time you havent mentioned, an attack on an Army camp, which was never publicised. I hate terrorism. |

In your tiny little part of the Kingdom, why shouldn't there be Asians going about their business? You've still not answered my question fully, why is it with all the evidence showing that the IRA had huge support, you didn't think the Irish or Catholics wanted to wipe out Britain, but 4 suicide bombers, 20 odd others arrested on terrorist related charges, and you're convinced Muslims want to kill us all. |
